Account Manager Metrology (m/f) for UK
SCOPE:
Working with your Inside Sales Specialist, you will evaluate customer problems and demonstrate FARO’s product solutions.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Act as a primary point of contact in the sales process.
- Responsibilities include product sales, prospecting and relationship building.
- Facilitate FARO’s product sales by completing successful demonstrations and test installations at selected customer sites.
- Provide meaningful feedback as an integral member of the sales team.
- Self-sufficient in closing deals ensuring targets and forecasts are met.
The main requirement is an outstanding ability to close sales consistently and to exceed the very high levels of expected success.
REQUIREMENTS
- Sales Person with references in selling into Tool and Die, Metal Stamping, Metal Fabrication, Automotive Tiers 1 and 2, Aerospace suppliers and general value added manufacturing companies
- Ideally experience of accomplishment selling capital equipment
- OR
- Direct experience in the use of FARO products
- Experience with manufacturing and/or metrology is a definite plus
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
- Knowledge of CAD or CMM software and hardware is strongly preferred
- Valid driving licence
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong self-motivator
